I get so giddy talking about skin care. I just love being able to make all kinds of different concoctions and this Apple Cider Vinegar is no different. If you’ve braved Oil Cleansing this one should be easy peasy. It was actually the first beauty product I ever made, fell in love with, and decided to make many more of. You’ve got to make this one!
What is a toner?
A toner is a product designed to balance the skin’s pH after cleansing, bringing it back to it’s natural level.
When the acid mantle on the skin is disrupted, it promotes abnormal bacteria growth, and it leaves our skin more susceptible to diseases, infections, and even wrinkles. This disruption can happen by stress, diet, lack of exercise, and not drinking enough water. so if you don’t suffer with any of this, an apple cider vinegar facial toner is not for you ;)
A toner also removes any leftover residue from makeup or your facial cleanser.
What is apple cider vinegar (aka ACV)?
Apple Cider Vinegar is made by fermenting pressed apple juice until the natural sugar turns into vinegar. Raw, organic, unfiltered and unpasteurized ACV contains “the mother” which is a colony of beneficial bacteria linked to many health benefits.
It contains high levels of Alpha Hydroxy Acids – we talked briefly about it here – that “digest” dead skin cells, revealing a healthier complexion.
ACV also promotes blood circulation in the small capillaries that irrigate the skin. It is antiseptic and inhibits the growth of foreign bacteria, viruses and fungi.
By now you know how famous people love their natural beauty products. Apple Cider Vinegar also has its followers like Scarlett Johansen and Hillary Duff.
What is tea tree essential oil?
Tea Tree Essential Oil is widely known for its healing properties for the skin. It is analgesic, antibacterial, anti fungal, anti inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti parasitic, antiseptic, antiviral, decongestant, deodorant, diaphoretic, expectorant, fungicidal, immune stimulant, and insecticide.
In World War II producers of tea tree were exempt from military service until they had enough essential oil for each soldier and sailor for the treatment of infections, wounds and other problems of warfare. Don’t you just want to bathe in it?!

- 8 ounce plastic bottle
- Pour all ingredients into the bottle.

- Apply with a cotton ball, after washing you face.
